Confined Space Entry & Rescue Services for Perth

A confined space is an enclosed or partially enclosed space. Examples may include a vat, tank, pit, pipe, duct, flue, chimney, silo, container, pressure vessel, underground sewer, wet or dry well, shaft, trench or tunnel.

 

The risks associated with working in confined spaces, include:

 

• Loss of consciousness due to the effects of airborne contaminants
• An explosion due to the ignition of flammable contaminants
• Difficulty rescuing an injured worker
• Suffocation caused by free flowing material such as grain, sand, fertiliser or water

 

J&C are able to supply Confined Space Entry (CSE) personnel with Breathing Apparatus (BA) training. With these skills, they are able to carry out high risk vessel entries for cleaning, prepping and inspections. Our OH&S procedures ensures that J&C are able to provide risk assessments and all other documentation and rescue equipment necessary for CSE work.
